Canada 150 Grants – Round 1 Recipients

Community groups are gearing up to celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation. It’s a year-long celebration across the country.  And here in Cambridge and North Dumfries, exciting fresh ideas to commemorate this special event are popping up.

Through the Community Fund for Canada’s 150th (CFC150), the Community Foundation is proud to announce its first round of support for nine (9) proposals that have met the Fund’s criteria — ENCOURAGE. INSPIRE. BUILD.

A total of $26, 750 worth of grants have been approved for our first round of funding to the projects/events listed below. This initiative is made possible by the Community Fund for Canada’s 150th, a collaboration between Cambridge & North Dumfries Community Foundation, the Government of Canada, and extraordinary leaders from coast to coast to coast.

Round 2 Applications

Proposals received after November 30th will be considered for review in the 2nd round.

Applications are still being accepted for grants from the Community Fund for Canada’s 150th.
